Flip Flop trunk 6th gen

I am looking to put a flip flop trunk on my ride and need some ideas how to do this since the trunk opens and closes with supension rods. Thanks Warren

Ive been wanting to do this for sometime... I cant figure a way to mount the hinges for the shocks. Youd almost have to mount the shock end to the hinge and pivot from there

I don't think that one works. We have the shocks on the trunk.

Theres been a few guys that have bought the ebay kit for the 6th gen. Ive emailed them and asked them what they thought, and if it worked... No help. I figure its because they paid for the "info" on how to do it so they probably wont share. The ebay kit is only info, theres nothing you really buy from them to do it.

um, you can make about anything work. doesn't mean you'll still have the pistons.

I wonder if it would support the weight of my spoiler as well. My trunk is so heavy, but if it fit and all it would look really good.
