Need "How-to" for HP Autoworks STS...

Ive been looking and I dont see any how to's for the HPAutoworks STS. Ive seen the threads, theres just pics of "Free STS"....where is the exact location of where to install it. I first thought to upen the center console, but nothing looked similiar to the pics Ive seen. SO I looked under the car and nothing looked similiar to the pics either. Thanks ahead for the help.

thats because that free thing isnt a STS..its shortening the clutch travel.
clutch and shifter are two VERY diffirent things.
whoever started that whole "free STS" thing isnt very smart and is confusing a lot of people.
as far as the REAL STS...one part is under the hood and the other in the console. basically on either end of the shift rod. so you had it right. just stop looking at those wrongly labled pictured

wow once again false info

get your facts straight sooner!!!!

the free sts is just that a free STS, it does the same thing as the ho autoworks STS just for freem all you do is drill a hole in the fork and tap it with a bolt.

ok wow, that confused me a ton...i knew that 'free STS' was, indeed, an STS because he was talking about how you could center the shifter and shorten the throws...when sooner said it would shorten clutch travel i got all excited! lol

The install takes place 100% under the hood. I can't seem to find the thread that tells how to install it though. It's a pretty simple install once you find the shifter cable. Wish i could provide more info but it's late and i'm tired.
