What do they do when thet rebuild trannys?

does anyone know exactly what the shop does when they rebuild your manual tranny? thanks, im curious to find out.

Depends on the shop and what is wrong with your tranny. If you buy a rebuilt you need to be careful and find out what they change out. However, I will always take my chances with a tranny froma junk yard then having a dead tranny rebuilt. I've never had luck with a rebuilt tranny besides the one I had in my 73 Ford flatbed.
