I recently got a hand-me-down max from my dad. There are swirl marks everywhere. I bought some turtlewax color-match stuff that comes with the paint chip filler, will this polish work? there didn't seem to be much black polish at autozone.

Should I go with the paint chip filler that came with the polish? or is it better to spend another 5 bucks to get the touch up paint from the dealer?

 

One thing about the color match stuff is that it contains fillers and may lose the luster over the next few washes. What I would recommend is getting a decent polish like Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner Polish, Sonus SFX series, Menzerna Intensive/Final Polish, or Menzerna Power Gloss. Another route you could take is 3M light cut rubbing compound.

 

I tried using the Mothers Sealer and Glazer...I couln't remove the swirl marks on my Max. However, it did hide the horizontal "scratch" like marks on my trunk. Maybe I wasn't using the right side on my cheap orbiter for the hood...who knos..
