What you guys think? It is a rear emblem off a nissan pathfinder. I used very thin double tape, made the emblem flat on the back by grinding it. It came a bit curved originally.

it looks ok, but your chrome gauge rings look better especially on the black gauges!

just curious.

Not to hate, or crap on ur post... but do you think that it might become a projectile in a case of an front impact from the airbag? might take ur eye out.

- But looks clean and nice! good work

i used very strong 3m double tape , so hope the emblem wont become a projectile. this pic is 4 months old, got rid of that light thanks to o2 simulator.

My Acura Legend had an Acura emblem just like that in the center of the wheel and I never liked it. It actually would bother me in direct sunlight and when passing under streetlights at night with the sunroof open. To each his own.. looks very nice and classy, but too bothersome for me.

Yeah, I did this mod when I first got my car. The 2K wheel is different from all the later 5th gener's, so I put a slightly bigger emblem to contour the centerpiece of the steering wheel. Here is an ugly pic I took when I was removing the guage cluster, but you get the idea. And, no if the emblem is on good enough (3M molding tape), I believe it's not going to hurt you if the air bag is deployed.

have you guys ever seen an airbag blow off? i would almost put money on that thing flying off since it's taped on. it looks good but i don't think i would do it just because of that.

To be willing to have a Nissan emblem scar on your face is the signs of a true fanatic, 2 thumbs up!

when the air bag deploys, the steering wheel cover splits right along where that emblem is so it would probably stay on one side of the cover when it splits. but i still wouldnt risk it. never know what will happen in the .005 seconds it take for the bag to deploy.
