04 Max display and radio install question''''

I am installing an aftermarket radio [Alpine9843]....Can you still use the display screen , and hook up an aftermarket radio??Please help!

I doubt it... if you don't have navi, then the answer is definitely not, the non-navi info screen will display just what it's supposed to and nothing else.

The 9843 looks like a single DIN CD/MP3 player, right? So I guess what you're trying to do is display the song info on the stock screen? I doubt you can do that at all. If you have an HU that supports a screen, then you might be able to hook it up to your navi ($) or to a new screen ($$$, plus you have to move your stock screen somewhere).
