Does clay bar color have to match car

Does clay bar color have to match car

I have a grey lustre maxima and the hood has little holes up close because nissans paint sux. If i use a say 'blue' clay bar is it going to get stuck in the whole like a white wax might?

the clay dosent come off on the paint, but rather lifts things off your paint. So theres really no reason to worry.
