how do you take off the pulley from the supercharger??

how do you take off the pulley from the supercharger??

hey i want to take off the shim off my supercharger and i don't know how to take off the pulley. Before i take it apart where do i get the tool to take the pulley off??

You may not even need that...if its not frozen on there, it will most likely just slide right off like mine did

Pulley puller is a very easy tool to use. Becareful, blower shaft and all are sensitive. I used a screw driver my first time. Put some real nice dents in my pulley. I learned the hard way.

you can rent a pulley puller for free from Autozone, Kragen etc etc. But first, you have to get the screw off. Good luck. My bolt was so stuck, that when I finally broke the tension of the bolt, my allen wrench looked like a twizzler!

I used two crow bars, wood, and soft towels to pop my pulley, but like the other guys said, go with the pulley puller.
