Ordered front brake set of the pads from everythingnissan.com.
Got it yesterday, but it seems like one of them is incorrect, or is it?

You should have (2) 5E09 and (2) 5E05.. but you've got (3) 5E05 and only (1) 5E09.. that's weird

Call 'em back.. and have 'em replace it.

I called them and explained everything. They checked with technician and he said "The pad with the tab is a "wear" indicator. It goes to the piston (inner) side of the rotor on passenger brake"
Also they opened two more brand new boxes with same part number(D1060-2Y991), and all off them are same as mine.
Strange.

They may be packed wrong from the manufacture... You should have two pads with the tab... one on each side.. Otherwise, how can you tell the wear on the other side (without the Tab)?

You may want to show that photot in General Maxima forum or 4th Gen and get the attention of the someone from the forum that works for Nissan Dealer:

Dave B and Kaleb
