Why doesn't the antenna go up after the installation of a aftermarket radio? I just installed a power acoutik padvd-130. Its a decent radio i got mainly because it plays dvd's however, the radio (am/fm) isn't working.

 

Make sure you have the antenna wire hooked up, the aftermarket wiring harness adapter should have a blue wire coming off of it, you have to hook this to the remote wire coming off the headunit.

 

Its possible your HU doesn't sent a remote antenna signal.........
