Going to dyno for the first time today...few ???
i've got an auto 4th gen, and this will be my first time to the dyno. i remember reading where we're supposed to accelerate to keep the car in 3rd gear, but i forgot when. Also, is there anything else I should know before going?

Im trying to fix that 0210 code that says im too lean today. im going just to see what my AFR is really, not too concerned about the power im putting out at this point. Also, my friend knows a guy there and we're getting a good deal, so might as well just for fun.

You got more than 2 bolts holding the upper to the lower now? Post that graph when you get back.
i would have posted the graph...too bad we drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there and it was closed "due to a personal matter." i had an appointment, and they couldnt bother to call and let me know. im definitely calling and *****ing about this on monday. im seriously so upset right now. and no, dont have more than two bolts, i cant find bolts long enough to reach the lower im through the VI. im just frustrated, and i think im going to snap
Sorry to hear about that... I had a similar experience with a dyno shop last year. P***ed me right off. Last time I ever went there...
As for the bolts... try the dealer but if they can't get them look for an industrial supplier or hardware supplier near you. They should be able to sell you what you need. I had to do this as Nissan couldn't get them. I believe I used M6x110 and M6x150 bolts. What I'd do to make sure though is take a caliper and measure down into the bolt holes with everything still on the car and see what the max bolt length you can use is. The longer the better as the LIM threads are soft and can strip easily.
EDIT: oh.. you used the 4th gen lower though iirc... those sizes I gave were for 5th gen lower

yeah, id have to use helicoils or keenserts for the 6mm to work. Nismo3112 enlarged the holes on the VI for the 8mm to work, but i dunno if i want to do that. Ill try the dealer, see what they say. There are a few industrial places that would probably have them, so ill try them as well on monday. I went to autozone to ask about helicoils, but they sold me some junk that is pretty much just something to rethread. Like an 8mm insert. I need to take an 8mm hole and turn it into a 6mm

yeah, that problem is resolved. I'm going to SpeedQuest in Waukegan, IL to dyno this Saturday. I'm dyno tuning, so they charge by the hour. How many runs should I expect to get in one hour?
