1st Wax ---report

I did my first wax today.
First I used clay bar then Meguiars #7 then Meguiars NXT paste wax.
It is a thing of beauty.

I bought and used a $20 orbital waxer I am not so sure I liked it, I only used it for taking the wax off then I still did a lot of hand work.

You're on the road to keeping your 4th gen's finish beautiful. Remember, as a rule of thumb, after 30 days, 50% of the wax is gone. After 90 days, it's basically all gone. For longer lasting protection, go with a synthetic sealant. I also choose to apply wax/sealant by hand rather than orbital. I think it's because I get a more uniform shine with the manual method.

I think the #7 did allot to polish the color to a high gloss before I applied the NWT wax.It was easy to apply and polish up to a high sheen. I cannot imagine that anyone would not like it.

I use Zaino. It's a pretty long process but very very worth it. My nine year old paint looks better than most new cars.

Klasse is another excellent synthetic sealant. Two step process. All in One and then the Sealant Glaze. I swear by them. Then I top it with S100 or Souveran.
