Alternative Foglights for 02/03

I am looking for alternative foglights for my 02. I refuse to pay $100+ for glass foglights that are guaranteed to crack due to heat and/or rocks. Currently my passenger side fog light is cracked and the bulb is blown. The driver side fog light has a huge chip off the edge of the glass but still works correctly.

I have looked at the PIAA and Hella sites but I couldn't find anything that was a great replacement. The closest fog lamp is the Hella Optilux. It is 4" round and MiniRX7 has successfully installed them, but IMO the angel eyes look like garbage and there is quite a gap around the housing.

Foglight dimensions:
4 1/2"H x 5 1/4"W

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

BTW, 3M clear bra protection is not a solution to the problem. Yes it will lessen the impact, but it does not prevent cracks from the heat or larger rocks.

....and yes I know this has been discussed many times before but we still don't have a solution for it.
