HELP! Highbeam indicator always on, and one headlamp doesnt work...

My highbeam indicator is permanently on whether the light switch is on/off or low/high. Even if the car is off with the keys out, the indicator is on. Ontop of that, the passenger headlight cuts out on its own and doesn't come on for days or weeks. I checked the wiring between the bulbs and socket and it was fine...I even changed the bulbs and it was the same problem. When I switched to HID I got the same problem.

Is there a relay which causes this? Also when I had halogen bulbs my DRL'S were dead even though my low/high worked fine before. Any suggestions?

Thanks

There should be a headlight relay, replace it.

Any clue as to where to find this relay? Is there only one relay that controls the entire headlamp circuit?

Replacing the bulb doesnt help...I am actually running HID's...I had the exact same problem with my old halogens too. I cut off the old corroded 3 prong socket and have the wires directly feeeding the ignitor for my HIDs now.

Just looked at FSM, there is no relay. It says check the fuse, ground, wireing, or switch.

The light should go off when the car is off and the key is out, that is a strange symptom. Did you run a constant 12v+ to any of the wiring when you put in HID's?

No constant power, the power is simply being fed through the lowbeam power and using the stock ground...fark. I am hoping it is a simple ground issue...I need to check this out very soon.
