Alpine IVA-D300 and burned DVD-R.
I can't get burned DVD-R to work on my Alpine IVA-D300. I'm using DVD Shrink 3.2 with Nero engine. Has anyone got a burned DVD-R to work on the Alpine? What kind of media are you using? What color is the media? What kind of burning software are you using?
That unit may not support dvd-r. I was talking to a buddy today that had an Alpine indash dvd(5202 or something like that, it's the standalone dvd player) and said it didn't support mp3. It might just be an Alpine thing.

I called Alpine.....the tech suggest DVD+R. It would help if Alpine advertise that. All I read is that it supports DVD-R which is false.

Hmm...i'll go buy a Sony DVD-R to test it out.
