The subject pretty much says it, I'm pretty sure the heater core in my 2000 Max is leaking. Anti-freeze smell in the car, but none outside. Dealer estimate is $880 to fix. Anyone had this happen?

I'm thinking I'll do it myself. The dash has to come out, no doubt. Anyone done this job, or care to offer some advice? Not thrilled about trying radiator stop leak either, heard too many horror stories.
