Anyone smoke there sidemarkers??(pics inside)

I just Smoke my sidemarkers in my 2002 Sunlit sand and damn it does look very nice the rear are still drying . i should have pics shortly , post your pictures if you have done this

I tried smoking mine, but I couln't get the paper to light. Once it finally lit up, it gave a pretty crappy buzz.

A LOT of people do it. Take a look around and you'll find about an equal number of smoked side markers to clear.

why did you smoke them? i think they only look good on a black car. they are going to stand out on a sunlit sand

Well becuase i dont like how clear looks nor red or orange but this looks not bad if i get tired of it ill just get clear

why not paint them in sunlit sand color? They would still shine though at night!

I dunno...they look a little odd on a light-colored car, and they'll be sure to attract the attention of the police (smoking the lights is, of co urse, illegal) since they stand out so much. They don't look terrible, but I think it would be sweet if you painted them sunlit sand.....that way they blend in during the day, but still shine through at night...

well maybe i will paint it sunlit sand only place to get the paint is at the dealer? or a local body shop might have some left over oh i got an idea im getting my front lip and rear valence painted and isntalled soon ill ask the bodymen either to paint or let me have some left over

now just imagine those headlights with the AE mod and a maxspeed drop and you have what my car looks like today

Dam thas a good idea painting em sunlit sand might try it. I was thinkin bout doing this cuz i wanna get black rims, I got a sunlit sand too,but i didn't cuz i think custom maxima might come out wit sum smoked ones for the rear. They only got the ones for the front so i guess ill wait. and if not ill jus stay wit my clears
