Basically here's the problem. I need 3 parts in my Max to repair all the leaks and cracks in my AC system (Low side hose to compressor, drier, and radiator). The total costs $1600CDN and I'm a poor...very poor uni student. My parents said they'll pay half of it but I'm sure everyone understands how parents are...They give you hope then they take it away. Well they insist that I try recharging the AC to see how that goes.

So my question is...

Should I recharge my AC like every few weeks or get the complete system fix?

 

You have a window. Use it. Nah just Joking. Well being that the price of freon has risen so much you would spend that money in one summer. I would just fix your problems. If you have it recharged again then tell your tech. to use the died freon. It will show you were you are leaking from. I find it hard to beleive all that went at once. You need your a/c for your defrost even in the winter. So I would spend the dough and fix it.
