SES code: P1102 maf sensor circuit range/performance problem

I would guess I need a new maf sensor? Correct me if I'm wrong..

engine cutout while on freeway after just passing up a semi...happened sunday july 17th at about 11'ish pm.

pulled to the side.... engine stops spinning.... restart but engine spins shortly for 1 seconds, then cuts out again... called towtruck to tow it home which was about 4 miles away...

monday morning, start engine, idles rougher than usual....when i punch it, it will stall at 2300-2400 rpm.

downloaded maf code sheet... went to work late..
after work... ran code check process.... got the p1102....

oh yeah, the max has 50,150 miles on the odometer.

Your going to need a new maf. Get one from a 00-01. You just need to switch the thermister out of your current Maf and install it into the new one. Very simple. Thats what I did. Good luck
