questions about using 00VI upper with the 4th gen lower

I am going to be using the 00VI upper plenum and using it with the 4th gen lower plenum, I have drilled the hole on the upper plenum so the screws on the outer will go through, yet with the 4th gen gasket (which is quite thick), it only leaves a few threads for the bolt, what can I do about that?

Also with the long 8mm bolts that go into the lower plenum, the brass sleeves on the 00VI upper plenum are too small to fit an 8mm bolt, what did some of you guys do to accomidate the 8mm bolt?

enlarge the two holes that line up with the 4th gen lower so you can use 8mm bolts, or install keenserts/helicoils

is the 00 gasket the one that goes around the ports on the manifold? if it is, it seems somewhat thin and looks like it will leak.

If you want to use the 8 mm holes in the LIM, then you have to enlarge the brass sleeves in the upper IM.

Conversely, if you want to use the oem 5th gen 6 mm bolts you will have to install inserts (e.g. Helicoils, Keenserts, Timeserts, etc.) to bring the hole diameter down.

I prefer doing the latter.

Where can I purchase these inserts, all hardware stores around my area discontinued sale of helicoils and they only thing they sell now are tap & die sets, which i already have
