I picked up electric air horns from an auto parts place for $25 (I think). I have them with one of the stock horns. There pretty loud and since it takes a 1/10 of a second for the air horns to go off while the regular horn is going off it sounds like 2 people honking.
I also did a little rewire so when I honk the horn my high beams go on as well. It's for those people that start to pull out on me. This way they know whos honking and to stay out of my way. Since I did that it seems to be very effective, much more then just the horn.

i think you can replace just one, but not sure what will work or how the wiring will go. i can't remember if ours are one wire or two, but if you get a horn setup with the same respective wiring, i would think it would work.
i third the highbeam/horn write-up! sounds good!
Hellahorns GD!!! Join now! great price, great sound, great quality! German-made! Only a few more people showing interest are needed!

Same thing, I just had to make the bolt hole bigger so I could use the 4th gen hardware.

wiring the highbeam to come on with horn is easy and requires some wire, a diode, and a relay. tap a wire into the +12v of the horn, connect that to the diode so current only flow out of that side, and connect the other side of the diode to pin 85 on the relay. connect pin 30 to battery +12v and pin 86 to ground, then pin 87 to +12v on high beams. that way, when the horn is on, it connects the +12v from the battery to the +12v on the highbeams. simple as cake.

I will have a write-up with pictures of the safe way to do it tomorrow.

I've got Hella Autobahn horns. They are electric and very loud. I removed the grill to install them and found an extra horn wire sitting there besides the one that's already there for the stock horn. I think it was intended for those cars without a car alarm. When I hit my horn now, I get the two Hella horns plus the alarm horn under the hood. You can get the Autobahn horn on Griots.com.
