Hello,
Anyone had good *long term* experience on a tint job
from a DFW shop? I got mine done at Alta Mere
(Arlington on Collins) 2 years ago with a "lifetime
warranty", but the rear window has turned semi-opaque,
like the plastic window of a convertible. Depressing to
look out of

Unfortunately, the warranty paper got lost, so now I
want to get rid of this crud and get a new tint
installed at a place where the optical quality of
tinted window lasts for minimum 4 years.
Thanks,
Sameer

hmm, i was going to say that i got mine done at alta mere (in fort worth) too, but so far i dont have the problems you are speaking of. how long did it take to turn opaque? i have had mine for about 2 years now, and i dont have any problems. which "grade" of tint did you get? mine cost about $220 (i think) and it was the one that is a neutral green then you look through it. not the bronze, and not the gray one, and not the mirrored one...
