i have a small creak/squeak when i depress the clutch pedal

it's not inside the car, it sounds like it is under or in the engine bay area.

any ideas? fixes? I am going to try to have a look tonight I haven't had time but really would like to sure this. Thanks!

 

Lube the connections that move when the clutch is depressed.

 

this happens to my friends 84 supra. He sprays into where the clutch pedal comes from wd40 and it stays quiet for about 2 weeks.

 

Might be the pressureplate springs. I had that creeking sound once but it went away after the car cooled off.

 

Yeah I was thinkin those springs. Ill try and look at any moving parts as well.

I have an ACT Stage 1 clutch by the way.

 

I would hope its that shaft behind the clutch pedal, must easier to lubricate. I would be a but worried if the springs on the pressureplate were so loud you could hear it in the cabin. could be linkage

 

i have the same thing, but i'm pretty sure i have a the oe clutch, but im not sure since the guy was a cheap ricer that i bought it from. and my flywheel is f'ed so i dont know if thats part of it
