Where to buy original brake pads
Where to buy original brake pads
right now i got raybestos and brembo blanks all around. the fronts are fine, but rear brake pads for some reason don't brake through out the whole rotor (especially the right one) and the rotor is all rusted and makes noise. nissan said that since the pads are aftermarket, they don't fit right and that everything will be fine if i replaced raybestos with nissan pads. so where can i get those pads for a good price? and promos around?
thanks.
thanks.

Not sure why the pads wouldn't fit right... seems like a bit of BS. In any event, you could compare the price your local dealership gave you with the price from Courtesy Nissan: http://www.courtesyparts.com/A32_brakes.html
Call Dan Tech at Midway Nissan (midwaypartsteam.com)... he's got a thread in the Group Deals forum.
Make sure you check to make sure the caliper is not seized when you do the brake work. Also check the parking brake cables for proper extension/retraction.
You'll need to either turn or replace the rotors too.

nissan service guy said that everything is fine and the calliper is not seized.
my right rotor has this small strip of surface that brake pads touch. the rest is rusted and due to this there is some sort of noise when brakes are unpressed

Sounds fine - but you should double check when you have things dismantled to replace the pads and rotors.
Sounds like the pads are binding in the retaining clips. Be sure to clean those out and use a little grease on them to make sure the pads can slide along the clips to make too contact with the rotor (as the wear).
