maxmale, what type of dyno are you going to be using?
Apart from what was said, an independant A/F controller, along with a reflash to extend rev limit along with some sort of IM to support the extended rev limit would be the best route right now, and probably for years to come, as ECU manufactures take a while w. Maxima parts.

I had the Super AFC (not the II) on my 99 Si. You really need a dyno to tune a unit like that and know what you are doing. I didn't, and learned the hard way after 10 lbs of boost and a cracked piston. Just gave me a reason to buy new internals and a block guard. Hint Hint (4.3 Stroker Kit) J/K Maxmale
It was a pretty cool unit though, so don't let me discourage you from buying it.

IMO that's what it's made for, dyno tuning ... and you must get ral acquianted with it and understand it really well before going and tuning.
There have been similar stories here on the org(not cracked pistons) but more like no gain because of user misunderstanding.

It is universal but it isn't as simple to install on your car because of the CAN BUS. There is no Tach output from the ECU, you may have to tap one of the coil primary wires from the ECU and set the SAFC2 to 1cyl instead of 6.
