I just put on the SP5000's on a 235/45-17 for my 97 5 speed SE. They are far quieter than the Potenza RE730 and do very well in wet drving. They also have a nice beffy look as the sidewall is a little more pronounced. They ride very well but may not be as good at the limit as the Potenzas. No more vibrations from small bumps and the cars responses seem rubbery and smoother between shifts. Also the engine seems to be quieter at 80MPH cruising. Don't know why. These really suit my definition of luxury perfomance that the Max is so well known for.
