Whirring noise explained in further detail

Ok I'm not sure if you guys saw my other threads or not but here's whats basically going on. When the key is in the "on" position I get a "whirring" noise from the tranny. When the car is "D" I still hear that whirring noise but the tone of it sounds a little different. The whirring noise disappears in Reverse, or in park or neutral. The whirring noise is also less subtle in gears "2" or "1".

The tranny was rebuilt by Maximum Tuning. Other than these little nuisances the tranny is functioning as it should. But I am afraid that these problem will escalate into larger problems. If this continues I will have to ask Max. Tuning for my money back, because to me this is intolerable. The tranny was built to BRAND NEW condition with graphite internals, stage II.5 VB, etc. It was built to be semi bullet proof.

I sort of have the same problem with my 97 Max....I don't think my tranny has been rebuilt but at park I can hear a whirling and squeaking noise.

Mine doesn't squeak. It just goes basically sounds like the back of a A/C Unit that's sticking out a window. You know how it goes WHIRRRRRRRR. It has a little metallic sound to it. That's basically what it sounds like. It's starting to tick me off because I spent $2,300 on this crap from a very reputable company... Maximum Tuning. So I don't expect things like this to happen.
