Referring To Camber Kits

Hello maxima lovers, i need your help!

i took my car to the mechanic for an alignment check, and the mechanic showed me my lower control arm (r side) and he said i gotta buy a new one, with a camber kit.

So question is

1.I heard that camber kits can help me lower my car also?

2. If I lower my car, do i need a new set of camber kits for rear behind?

boy i love maximas which are lowered!

hmmmm, well you don't need a camber kit UNLESS you're lowered

if you're stock then you're fine, just replace the lower arm and get another alignment

However, if you plan on lowering a camber kit can come in handy but isn't necessary

I am lowered 2.2" up front and am not running any camber bolts.......but i'm sure my camber is whack

i would get another check-up from a different mechanic about changing the lower-arm. i got ripped off by this shop when he never even changed it. i caught him lieing since i forgot to give him my wheel lock key which he would need to get access to the lower arm. fooking mechanics!

i really hate mechanics that lie, and cheat your money,

im lucky that my pops is best friends with the mechanic, which doesnt charge my dad no money.

one more question

1.If i lower the front portion of the car, how would the rear be lowered also? wouldnt it look funky? having the rear high, and the front low?
or does the front camberkit also lower the rear

the camber kit has nothing to do with lowering the car. you lower the car by buying after-market springs which are usually lower then your stocks. once the car is lowered, your alignment is mostly going to be off. the camber kit will help you align only the front tires to stock specs.

if you need camber adjustment drill out 1 of the 2 lower holes in the strut.
