back to stock ;(

i had a hybrid intake installed a week ago and since it wasn't working right, i had my mechanic take a look at it along with fixing a dent. when i picked up my car just a few hours ago, he told me he restored my intake back to stock. i wanted to keep my jwt filter but seems it didn't work? anyone know what might have been the problem?

i bought my cattman combo just a few weeks ago brand new and now im bare stock again. kind of disapointing...

What do you mean it didnt work? Like it didn't connect to the MAF or something? Or was your car lagging alot? He might have taken it off because I don't believe intakes are approved for public roads, but I might be mistaken. I know the one I got said "off road use only"

there was a lot of lag. it shifted at 3000 rpms then it was hard pressed to get to 2500 rpms. and i had 1fstmax install it for me. i'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing.

i only really want the jwt filter back on now though. we didn't use the maf adapter cattman gave me though. 1fstmax said it wasn't necessary to use. should i have had the maf adapter put on anyways? could that have been the problem?

how did you get it on there without the MAF adapter? If it wasn't installed correctly that could have been the problem

he's using a jwt pop charger in conjunction with a mid pipe.. So therefore no maf adapter was needed, since the velocity stack acts like maf adapter as well.
