The lighted switches for rear defrost and emergency flasher (on either side of the dashboard clock) need new bulbs. I recall that there is a Radio Shack bulb number for this replacement, but I can't find the info in the Stickies. The dealer could not help me with replacement bulbs for these switches. I did purchase new bulbs for the climate control buttons, but these are not the right bulbs for the rear defrost and emerg flash switches.

Can someone please direct me to the right place on the org or even remember the bulb number I need?

 

Just take the bulb out and go to radio shack. You can match it that way, they always had the ones I needed in stock. Might save yourself the trouble of looking on here. Good luck, I don't think you will have any problems finding them once you have one out.

 

I just replace the back-light bulb for the rear defroster in my car with one from radio shack. I'll post the part # when I get home tonight.

I am also going to post (if it works) on how to use the same bulbs for the auto A/C unit as well.

 

The back light (lights up when your parking lights are on) for the defroster was burned out on my max. I replaced it with #7219 from radio shack. It looks pretty good, but I am not sure about heat or lasting power of the bulb.

I also used those same bulbs to replace the ones in my automatic climate control.
