Now, now Bill. Let's not drag Mr. maximaR into this.

What is the "R" in maximaR's name anyway?

It depends on the size of the Type R sticker. Your average sized Type R stickers are good for 5 ponies each, while the big Type R sticker on the side of ITRs are good for 10 ponies!

BTW, max.org sticker are 5 ponies per pair. Dang we have sorry stickers when it comes to mod value.....

I asked for an estimate at a local dealership about 4 weeks ago. They said $2950 which includes labor, rebuilt 5 spd and all other necessary parts to complete the job.

Are you sure of that price? I always think that dealership will try to charge an arm and a leg for almost anything. So, any local Nissan dealer can do the swap? Or is it better to bring it to a transmission shop?

That's a very good price. If only I live in CA. I don't have the funds right now. When I do, I'll go ask around and see how much a tranny swap will cost.

When you guys are finish with the swap, post some pics and thoughts. Thanks.

Bill99 , what do you think a really big nissan sticker on the front windshield tint section would be worth in terms of power , maybe thats what im lacking to get into the 11 second 1/4 mile zone...

Hahhaha no. I need a new paint job, put my audio/deadening in.. [semi-conflict with paint job cuz of door dings] .. the brakes.. [ss lines just got here, wh00] .. CF hood [to hold off the paint job for a while] .. oh yah, my body kits in the shop! I know theres a few things I don't have.. but most of the stuff in the sig are just bolt ons.. collected over time

As for the kitchen sink.. Ill have that too, in the form of subs.. soon i hope.

Did i mention that i got a grip of door dings and paint chips?
