20% tint isn't as dark?
20% tint isn't as dark?
i just got my car tinted about a three weeks ago with black tint that have a little bit of reflective on it.

even tho the tint is 20% all around it can still see in like it's only 35% or something =/
here's my ex-accord with 35% quantum tint that's full metallic and can't see in as much compared to the 20% i got now.

does anyone have pics of very reflective tint on white car? i think the black looks too plain right now =/

What color is your interior? I have 20% bronze all the way around and it seems slightly light ONLY when it's really sunny out. Other days it seems pretty dark. I have beige interior. The darker the interior, the darker the tint appears to be be when light is reflected off of it.
Yeah, since you have a glacier pearl 5.5gen, you'd have the tan interior, which makes the tint seem lighter. The tint on your accord, since it's more metallic, it would seem darker from outside since its like a mirror.
I have black 20% tint all around on my white 2k2 and it only seems light in bright sunlight, otherwise its pretty dark. As night time, reversing in a dark parking lot can be a challenge so I wouldn't go any darker.

ya i got tan leather...i might change it to the full metallic ones...those look more classier...but man it's gonna cost a lot to remove all the windows including the windshield and have it retinted lol but i think the black tint on white car combo works best huh?
i like the look of this one...

found it on cardomain a while back but can't find it anymore hah i like that greenish/grayish look to it

I have a frost int. and felt the same way about 20% tint. Had it done, but then just got it ripped off and had 5% put all around. PA's one of the few states you can get away w/it in b/c they don't have a specific %age guideline. Some call it ghetto (5%), but I love the privacy.

I want to get a Limo Tint in the back two windows...but what's the best tint for rear windshield to provide decent visibility while backing up at night?(I Dont do much but still)
In PA is it illegal to have any tint on front windshield? If not what's the limit?
And Yes Lighter Interiors reflect light easier so your tint won't look as dark as it would on a darker colored interior car

If the back 2 are at 5%, might as well make it look even and put 5% on the rear windshield. You will have to roll down the windows at night though because it's really unsafe backing up w/o that.
It is illegal in PA to have any tint on the front windshield. I don't know if it's an inspection criteria, but if you were pulled over, you'd def. get nailed for that. Not worth the hassle IMO.

this is my boy's car. i guess there was some stock mirror (really light) on the gle. then he put some 17% mirror on it. it looks really good. esp in this pic

its way nice, but it is a little transparent from the outside in some light. probably about half the time. its badass though

I have 15/5 f/r tint. Here in Honolulu, they just passed a law if it is more than 35% +- 6% then its gonna cost you $300 per window. So a sedan with illegal tint is gonna run you about $1500 a pop. My car stays parked with a cover over it.

I have 15% tint all around and even though under certain lights and angles you can semi see in it, I still have no issues with the popo cause I roll my windows down when I pass them.....
