flip flop trunk

I saw a how to on vqpower.com for the flip flop trunk but its not very well written in my opinion. or even a "how to". i see some people have done it, and im wondering how yall did it. or if anyone can make a better how to.
i see you basically just alter the part where the trunk lid attaches to those bars? (im assuming).
and i read "jason" used some latches to go back and forth between the regular style and the modded way, which seemed like a really good idea.
but really im just curious how people have done it and maybe i could see some good pictures.
thanks

I've done the red out.
I was just curious if you had any suggestions, I'm open to them.
I'm not stuck on the trunk mod, I probably won't hardly use it, its not like I have a sub to show off.
Led taillights I DO like though.
I wish there were cheaper performance diy's to do.

Have you replaced your dash lights with LED's? I think thats a pretty cool mod and I'd like to do it at some point.

i think the best mod ive seen done to a maxima was the "vtech tuning" decal on his trunk! by far that is a gr8 mod.

other than dat....tryin plastering "nismo" all over ur hood like the kid 2blocks from my house!
