TPS settings recommended for 1996 Max.

Hi,

Am having issues with the Max when I start the engine and stop it within a few minutes, like in moving it from the garage to the driveway. The next restart (hours away) the car starts poorly (much cranking) and feels flooded. I heard that the TPS needs to be reset, what is the recommended volt setting and which wire is probed?

Thanks for you input.
Chris...

Where did you hear that the TPS needs to be adjusted (to fix this problem)? I'm curious, as I have experienced this once or twice myself.

I believe that I read it here some time ago, but the search function is not working for me. There is an ideal volt setting and by slightly rotating the TPS sensor to obtain the volt setting, all should be well again.

There is a procedure in the stickies (How-to or FAQ) that talks about adjusting the TPS... (at least I think there is)... o/wise get a Haynes manual - it's a worthwhile investment for 20 bucks and covers these types of things sufficiently well.
