There should be a button to disable traction control. It's labeled TCS.

If you are going to drive your Maxima in the winter it will be a big help when you are accelerating at icy intersections.

Do 95's have traction control, or are we slidin'? Because I don't see any buttons.

MY 99 was the first year for TCS. Also, the TCS system is an engine-TQ based system vs. a much more effective brake-based system. Our TCS's cut fuel and upshift the transmission accordingly, but can't brake an individual wheel to control wheel spin. Therefore, if one wheel spins, the engine cuts power to both driving wheels.

The fuse that controls the TCS if I remember correctly is labeled as "anti-skid" and should an under the hood fuse or relay. If someone with a 99 can verify this for me.
