I am looking for a 16" rim that will fit over my 2k4 rotor/caliper setup for the winter. I prefer steelies so they are cheap. Did the 6th gen max come with a standard sized steel spare or is it one of the donuts? Any other options?

 

as far as i know of u need 17's

 

I'm not aware of any 16 that will fit. Most 17's are a very close fit already. As for the donut, a 6th gen donut should fit fine....though I just carry a full-size spare (one of my G35 17's that I use for autocross).

The other option with the spare...just carry your mini spare. if you get a flat on a front wheel, switch a back wheel to the front and put the minispare on the back....Ihad to do that once.
