can i get a outside temp display?

i recently been in a 99 GLE and found out the have outside temp display. And my 98 GLE doesn't kinda disappointed. Is there a simple way for me to do a mod. Or is it like once those mods that require a whole lot of work. Like adding ABS to a non-ABS car.

The 99's were blessed wih AMB temp. Someone figured it out out, but you have to do key strokes and hit buttons a certian way, or something like that

the 98 acc has the button under the blank panel. you can buy the AMB button and mod the controls to fit it in. I was thinking about drilling a hole in there and rigging up and lilt push button.

I looked up in the FAQ's and there isn't anything there. it mentions the diffrences between a 98-99 but not how to get a ambient temp sensor in there.
