Aftermarket headunit: How do you connect the antenna ?

Aftermarket headunit: How do you connect the antenna ?

I bought an aftermarket headunit and i also bought the aftermarket antenna harness but I am a little confused how it hooks up can someone helo me out. I did try to search for it and i could not find anything about it.

This should be in the audio forum. But purchase an "antenna adaptor" from any car audio shop, best buy, circuit city, etc......its 'bout 12-15 bucks.

Make sure you connect the power antenna remote from the HU to the right pin in the car's harness also. I recall reading that the antenna uses powered circuitry and it won't work correctly if you don't "power" it from the HU.
