Help.
Can you install a muffler with out a lift.
I just removed my stock cat bak. The flange at the end of the muffler rotted away so the muffler came right off.
Now I have the b pipe on and can't get the muffler throuh the rear arm opening. The flange get's in the way.
Can it be done if so how.
Thanks, Mike

Rear arm opening? are you installing an aftermarket muffler with the stock B-Pipe?
No.
Greddy Cat-back.
I wound up loosening the 5 17mm bolts the hold the arm on about 3/8 of an inch . This made the area that the pipe snakes through large enough to get the flange through.
The rest was cake and it's all good now.

it can be done, but you need to get the back of the car WAAAYYYY up there on the jackstands. I mean, as high as a floor jack will go, and then some. The big tip on the Greddy will make it even harder to do compared to say, a Frankencar.
but it can be done. turn the muffler sideways and try various positions to get it though the axle tunnel. It takes 2 people and the back wheels need to come off or they'll get in the way.
trust me, I've done it twice.

Like already said... wriggle it around with the car jacked high up and it'll come off.
