Guys i remeber around the same time the new bumoer was announced, they also announced the led turn signal mirrors . I really hope you guys didn't stop production as these would be a godsend. Otherwise i have to try and make my own (no experience)

I think they said something about the mirrors being harder to remove than the Altima's so that might be holding them up. I would get a set for sure.

Actually removing the mirror assembly itself is not hard at all... it's just those 3 screws at the bottom. If you want to remove the whole thing though, that's another story... if you don't want to break the tweeter cover panel on the A-pillar, you have to remove the whole damn door panel to get to the mirrors. And since something like this would need to get hooked up to power and the turn signals, I'd imagine it'd be a royal pain.

Still though, if they're nice mirrors I wouldn't mind paying for them... I've seen some really assy shells that don't even look good on a riced out Geo Metro, let alone our cars. Hopefully it will look good though... even if it's expensive.

Wow

I just saw a new benz fly by my work, it was changing lanes.....

The front of the shell had orange LEDs the mirror had a " < " thingy with red LEDs it looked so sharp. I wish they made ones for our car, that made the mirror part flash but the dimming feature still worked also

Me wants, if you want a tester, I'll do it.

Could be just me, but I don't see the point of the in-mirror signal... people behind you can see your rear signals, and people in front can see your signals and the mirrors blinking.

The only reason I can think of is so they can distract the driver... chances are you already know your turning signals are on...

But maybe it's just me...

I believe the inside mirror arrow "< " is for those drivers that dont know that their blinker has been on for like 300+ miles and are eventually going to make that left sometime .02

Yet another reason to make "blinker juice" -- a can of juice that powers the blinkers. The standard can that ships with the car lasts 5 years. If you over-use the blinkers, you run out and eventually the car won't start. Or it will blow up, whatever works best...

Let me run that by the patent office and see.
