Damn, that sounds so much better than my VG 5sp with fubar input shaft bearing and broken exhaust studs.

 

Oh how I miss the sound of the VG growling for MPH. Nice blast from the past for me.

well guys, the ex-89 maxima is not "ex" anymore but "present". I sold my 93 VE instead cause it had many small problems that were bugging me as well as I needed the money. I can't say I miss the VE....

enjoy your max whichever it may be. I was looking at a VG to replace my VE A/T, but I ended up with a VE5 instead

 

I think this will be my last 3rd gen maxima. If I buy another maxima, it will be a 5.5 gen only. The current one on sale and the upcoming one lost their 4dsc soul. The chances are my next vehicle will be a Honda Accord V6 hybrid

 

I'll keep getting em as long as I can pick them up cheap
