Invader Type 6 carbon fiber hood...

while searching for a good deal on a carbon fiber hood..I came across the Invader Type 6 Carbon Fiber hood..anyones thoughts on it..because I havent heard or seen anyones opinion on it..Im tryin to decide if I should go with this or the normal Carbon Fiber hood....

IMO that hood only looks half decent on the max only if you get the stillen front bumper.. asides from that it looks ultra rice.. i suggest you get the oem looking one.

I "WOULD" strongly recommend you "NOT" to get CF hood in general.....take a look at mine thas exactly the sameone I got on my Max, I've had it for about lil over 2yrs or so.....color started to change and the clear coat started to crack.

OEM, going on 3 years almost with CF hoods Invader looks pathetic on Maximas.

my friend has it.... his car is on the custom maxima website here http://www.customenterprise.com/view.../vts/design017

I dont think he's had many problems with it ..he got it off ebay for $400

I hope that BlackbirdVQ is not particularly talkin about my max saying"Invader looks pathetic on Maximas" it's all about how u modify ur car believe it or not I get a lots of compliments cuz of the invader CF hood, but I still hate it. Yes, it could look really pathetic if u jus hav that hood on factory Max, but if you wann go for aggresive look thas the way to go.

yea on your car it actually flows well with the kit. id prefer the stillen kit, but still, not bad.

agreed...it has to have some sort of front front bumper in order for invader hoods to flow well

I have only seen a couple maxima's that can pull of the invader look and both have body kits. It completes the look, woocho yours is one and maxima girls silver 5th gen is the other. Go with OEM style
