You'll never get that color without retrofitting projectors. That "Blue" flicker color you see is from the Cutoff of the Projector Beam Pattern. The rest is done by the 4100/4300K H.I.D. D2S bulbs that's used in them. All of this would run you atleast $400 + labor.

The new TL's have HID's, you won't get that from just a bulb. You have to buy an HID kit which will cost from $200+. I think the closest you can get are Sylvania Silverstars, they are $40 a pair and you can get them at any car part store.

You mean HID PROJECTORS. My dad's car got hit by some lady, and when it went into the shop, it turns out that the retail on one of those headlights is over $1000!! wow

If I ever do a projector retrofit, Im using the new TL projectors. Those are awsome; high and low beam settings and they look great.

s and thier silly questions. You wont get that look from anything but HID Projectors. So if you really want that look start saving your money and check ebay for the parts to retrofit them. I too love those lights.

That's true. The best part is you still have high/low.

Hate to raid on someone's parade, but isin't it illegal to switch headlight systems from halogen to HID?

Its not a problem here, but in states with mandatory inspections, this could be a problem.

Mehthinks though, the $ will be a bigger issue than state inspections. Just wanted to point that fact out.

i'm still a foreigner to this whole inspection thing. fortunately MN has nothing like that, or at least nothing I have come across. but from what I have heard, if it existed in my state, I would know.
