Has anyone ordered a 5th Gen intake Manifold for their 4th gen Maximas yet?

I am very interested to hear the results of the experiment to see just how much work it intales changing intake manifolds. Don from the Texas group is doing one now.

The previous posts state that they are $70.00. I would like to know from where also.

The guy who got them for $70 got them from a salvage yard, and there was only one set.

He's in Texas, so hopefully he will get with Don and all the other Texas speed freaks.

20 HP, no noise or reliability problems I will take it for $500. I just hope it doesn't take too much modification. A couple small nissan piece could eventually cost more the main item.

Do you have a clue when Don will be finnishing his install.

Talk to Don Cooper dgcoop@swbell.net about injectors. He know's his ****. He has a connection with Russ Collins at RC Engineering, http://www.rceng.com/. Russ is the man. If you need new injectors, go for the biggest ones you can get, for the mods on your car that is, and you'll possibly need to invest in a new fuel pump. No sence in buying new factory injectors if you can get some higher performance ones.

70.00 for an upper and lower intake.

Missing throttlebody, fuel rails, injectors, EGR.

A new fuel rail is 75.00 from Nissan. I need to figure
out injectors and EGR. Throttlebody might be reuseable.

Mike
Is there a difference in EGR systems? I am about to change out my old system.

EGR's cost a lot too. Just for my Toyota pickup it was $350 at the dealership.
