Best offset for 01 Max?

Hi folks, I'm thinking about buying some new rims and was wondering what offset I should be on the lookout for. The wheels are 18X7 with an offset of 44MM. Will these fit my car and look ok or not? Also the bolt pattern is 5-4.5. Please let me know ASAP as the auction on ebay ends in 24 hrs.
Thanks in advance!!

A 7" wide rim at 44mm offset will tuck-in just like the OEM rims (45mm offset). If you're looking to have the fenders line up with the rims you're better off with a lower offset - 35mm 8" wide rim is a good place to start. You can also do a 7.5 at the same offset or lower.

18x7's will be a bit skinny but will still work either way.
