After the CAI, flywheel, exhaust, udp, tb spacer, ground kit, suspension, sts bought and put on...then what? Where do we go from there while remaining NA? I didnt think I'd hit the ceiling so soon.but any new mods out or anything? I just might have to go get a 75 shot or something.
I still need a sts, fidanza, and muffler though. I guess it's time to just cruise and enjoy the ride.

You can do less performance-oriented things...like leather and/or performance seats, dash trim kit, sound system, different wheels, Matt Blehm has many suspension parts, a BBK, perhaps. It's all about where you want to take it! I wish I had mine to that point, gonna get there some day...Nice ride!

you could port the manifolds, exaust and intake, or get new exuast manifolds. How much of the exaust is highperformance. You can always knock the internals of your cat out. I dont know if there are cams for the VE or not. Im not sure Ive heard of nitrous on a VE.

Buy MrGone's BBK. You have a lot of effort into going faster, but not much into stopping faster.

If you are talking about more acceleration/performance, I would look at your wheels.

Those wheels and tires you have probably weigh over 40 lbs, even though they are 16s, they are pretty heavy. If you had some lightweight forged rims (SSR competition, Rays, Volks, Centerline, etc) you will notice an increase in performance. This doesn't add hp, but it reduces unsprung weight. I really noticed a difference in acceleration between my light 17 inch rims and my stock 15s.

The Fidanza is kind of a love/hate relationship. The daily driveability isn't as good, but it revs a lot quicker and seems to be a lot easier to keep the car in the upper end. I have read in the 1/4 mile forums where it doesn't really help much in the quarter mile. It also makes it more difficult to launch. It took me quite a bit of practice to get my launch right.

Konis are adjustable. IMHO KYBs are too soft to begin with. Especially with those honker wheels you got.

Hey, now that you mention it, I have noticed they are softer than I want... now that Ive advanced my driving skills and all. What are honker rims? You mean the ones I just bought? Or the black steel joints? How are the koni's over bumps tho??

What kind of tires do you have? Tires are the most important part of the car.

If you wanted to stay NA, other mods are high compression pistons, high performance valve springs/cams, displacement increase. Now no one makes high rpm VE valve springs, but SR20DE valve springs are very simular in size. You could just get some crower, jun, jwt, tomei SR20DE valve springs and use them on the VE.

As for cams, you going to need some cores/extras to get reground. I know for a fact that based on the OEM specs a regrind could probably make 20-35whp easy over stock reving to 8000rpm. Other tricks are making a custom intake manifold. I suppose you could use a SR16VE n1 or RB30DETT plenum/runner size as a baseline.

After all of that is done, you can do some custom 11.0-11.6cr pistons. Or you could get some custom 89-90mm pistons made then get the block sleeved to get 3.2L. There is no reason a 3.2L high compression VE not make anything less than 270-290hp.
