I used to download from Winmx before they took themselves off the internet because of the threats from the RIAA. Never had problems with it. Just wish they were back on. I don't want to risk downloading from other sites because of bad sectors or viruses.

filesharing programs are obsolete. Use Bitorrent websites and get full cds... better hurry tho most of hte best ones have been shut down, and the rest will be down eventually too

for programs tho, Limewire pro works the best, but its gotten and is getting worse and worse..

bittorrent is the best, no viruses, and full albums.

I've used many, including Limewire, Imesh, Morpheus. All currently suck compared to what I recently started using:

Shareaza

Haven't tried Limewire pro, no need to

Have you noticed that you can see the person's IP address that you are downloading from on Shareaza? That creeped me out so I got rid of it as fast as I got it.
Surprisingly, I still use KLite K++ that I got years ago. It still works fine for me. I figure if the RIAA wants to F with me they will have to pick me out of three or four million others.
