headlights dont match? ? ?
OK, after melting my both of my harnesses and nokya arcticwhite bulbs and blowing the fuses, I pulled all that crap out and started over. I put in new oem harnesses and this time I grounded the harnesses to the frame, since I hear that is better for new headlights. I went to the store and got 2 pair of headlights, and when I put either pair in... the drivers side headlight is very yellow - the passenger side light is white. ??? I checked all the wires, put in ANOTHER harness on the drivers side, put it back on the original ground wire, did everything I know.. but the drivers side is still very yellow(maybe its just dimmer or different voltage then the pass. side?) ??? now, the kicker is that when they are on brights, both of them run very white... the drivers side runs WHITE? its blown my mind, and ideas? I checked the wiring where I cut off the old harness and everything, its all perfect.
Yes,
I have actually after right now (I was just in the garage) tried 3 pairs of bulbs, I tried switching the bulbs, I tried switching the right/left headlight fuses... I dont know what to try. Its only on regular beam, high beam works perfect.... if the digital cam will take a pic of it (I doubt it) I'll try and post.
It's driving me crazy- I got new arctic whites, and one is the right color, the drivers side looks soo grey and dead, like its real dirty - until you hit the brights.

here is a pic of the arcticwhites...
both of those are nokya arcticwhites - once again, they look different on normal beam, but they match on highbeam, what the heck?
one other thing I have noticed, when they are on normal beam the "Brights" indicator is slightly lit up on my dash.. that thing normally lights up when there is a short/dead bulb on the passenger side.
