My lights dim when i hit the brakes or turn my signals on what is going on??

 

weak battery / alternator maybe?

 

more than likely its your altenator.. might be on its way out..

 

I actually had the exact same thing happening.....since I was looking to upgrade my battery anyway, I went ahead and did that first. I put in a red top Optima battery and now no more dimming!!!

Even if you had to rebuild the alternator, it's not all that expensive.

 

Yeah, I replaced my alternator and had the same thing happening to me, I ended up replacing the batt. and that fixed the problem.

 

Before you run out and buy a battery, check the simple things first. I had the same problem and it was a bad ground.
