P0171 - Maf?

Is this code for the MAF? The description in the stickies says
"Fuel Injection System Too Lean (Bank 1)".

no, its the code telling you that bank one is too lean.


usually the cause is the MAF, but it could be anything that causes a lean condition, vacuum leak, low fuel pressure, incorrect BARO reading, etc...


but seriously, you could like search... or just look at the first two to three pages and find the same problem, and some in depth info on it.

That was my code, and I replaced MAF.

The MAF is the usually culprit for that code. I had the same exact code and when I replaced the MAF my problem was fixed. Along with pulling that code, I had some hesitation, rough idling probs, etc. There are a lot of posts regarding what MAF's can be responsible for...

Ok. THanks. My car, on the whole, runs fine. I only have a slight hesitation in first few seconds of driving when the engine is cold.
